Many moons ago, the building was the blacksmith shop in town. Mike and Doug worked endless hours to build their dream bar, doing almost all the work on their own. (Located at 181 East Rhine Street, Elkhart Lake, WI 53020)
Brown Baer. Yup, Doug BROWN and Mike BAER became friends many years ago when Mike worked for Doug at Water Sports in Elkhart. Flash forward a few years and beers later, they made their vision, of creating a unique bar with a fun atmosphere to serve up drinks to their friends and the local crowd, a reality.
Mike is now the sole proprietor, along with his beautiful and supportive wife Kate. Also keeping them busy, the rest of their clan; two boys JJ (6) and Brady (3). They live in the village, just down the street, and love all the people they get to meet.
